This is my Favourite Time of Year

This is my favourite time of year. I celebrate Halloween and Beltaine at this time of year. Halloween is my favourite calendar holiday of all time. The spirit of fun and whimsy surrounding it just calls to me. If you read my post last Halloween you’ll remember that I differentiate Halloween from Samhain. Halloween to me is the popularised, commercialised holiday and Samhain is the ancient sabbat. I didn’t dress up this year which was disappointing. I just had too many things going on. But I have already decided on two different costumes for next year :D.

As I’m in the southern hemisphere this time of year is not Samhain for me. Instead I celebrate Beltaine. I always celebrate the sabbats on their actual date not their calendar date so instead of celebrating on the 31st of October I will be celebrating on the 7th of November. As it happens this year Beltaine falls on my birthday. I’m hoping this is a good sign that the year to come will be fruitful for me :).

If you’re following me on social media you may be aware of my Birthday Sale which I announced on Friday. To celebrate my birthday and Beltaine The Kingston Chronicles Kindle Edition will be on sale at Amazon for 99c USD, AUD, CAD and their equivalents in other currencies. For accurate pricing in your region check out your local Amazon site. Sale ends 30th of November.

I’m still working on Samhain Sorcery, which I hope to launch in 2019. This weekend was crazy at my house as we introduced a new four legged member to the family. Cover Model Storm has been trying to make friends with her new younger brother Charlie but Charlie is a rescue dog and is still pretty shy and standoffish.

Now it’s time for me to get back to work! Blessed Be.
